The current conceptual commercial application for this technology can be arranged in a slip stream configuration, external to the flue gas path, or in a full flow configuration, placed directly in the flue gas path. In a natural gas fired combined cycle, this system would interface just after the last heating surface of the HRSG. In a coal-fired plant, this system would interface downstream of a wet flue gas desulfurization (FGD) system, where it could remove the majority of the moisture introduced by the FGD process. Figures 4, 5 and 6, show the process arrangement and the conceptual layout of a commercial slip stream WETEX system.
