Air separation plants supply oxygen and nitrogen to numerous applications such as methanol production, Gas-to-Liquids (GTL) and Coal-to-Liquids (CTL), Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC), steel production or oil sands.
Compressors play a key role in your air separation process. Air compressors suck in the filtered air and compress it to the necessary pressure before it is cooled and separated into its main components, nitrogen and oxygen, and a number of inert gases. The gas products oxygen and nitrogen can then be compressed and fed into a pipeline network for further use.
